How it Works

When is Marlow Tastes 26?

Your Marlow Tastes adventure takes place on Tuesday 28th April 2026 between 6pm and about 10.30pm.

So how will the evening unfold?

At 6pm your Booking Group – a group of two, four or six friends – will check in to one of our two reception venues: All Saint’s Church SL7 2AA or Shelley Theatre SL7 2AE to join fellow guests for a welcome drink and canapés.

Your mystery dining experience visiting three different but unknown participating restaurants will start at 6.45pm when our friendly Rotary volunteers will guide your Booking Group and other guests along Marlow High Street to your first restaurant. You will have already chosen your menu for the evening, so your starter will be ready for you shortly after you arrive.

At 8pm your guide will lead your Booking Group and some of your fellow diners to your second restaurant where your main course awaits.

You will leave at 9.30pm for your final restaurant to enjoy dessert and coffee.

All restaurants are close to Marlow High Street. Fifteen minutes is scheduled between each course so you can comfortably walk to your next restaurant.

Rotary volunteer hosts will welcome you on arrival at each restaurant and show you to your allocated table.

How many places will be available?

Our nine participating restaurants have the capacity to serve around 470 guests. Along with previous Marlow Tastes attendees, those guests on our 2025 reserve list who missed out last year will be invited to book ahead of Thursday 8 January 2026, the day bookings are open to the public. If you are not on the reserve list, then we advise you to book as soon as possible after this date as all previous Marlow Tastes events sold out within a few weeks.

You can book for a group of two or four or six guests only. Unfortunately, the event logistics mean that bookings can only be for even numbers. Your Booking Group will sit together and eat at the same restaurants during the evening.

If you wish to join another Booking Group, email us at info@MarlowTastes.menu with their booking details. We will do our best to link two or more together to make a Friend’s Group of up to a maximum of 12 guests. We will endeavour to ensure that a Friend’s Group will visit the same restaurants, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that they will be able to sit at the same table.

How much will it cost? What is included in the price?

The ticket cost which includes a welcome drink and canapes, a three-course meal inclusive of coffee and service, plus some other amazing benefits, is just £80 per person.

On arrival at your reception venue, you will collect a personalised discount voucher. This will entitle you to book a future meal for two at all nine of our participating restaurants – 18 meals in all. With every meal, each diner will receive either a free glass of house wine or a dessert. (terms and conditions apply). Assuming it is used in all 9 restaurants, this voucher alone is worth more than £160 – twice the ticket price!

We will be selling raffle tickets during both the reception and the starter course. Last year over 60 prizes valued at more than £2,500 were drawn and presented during the dessert course. This year we hope to offer even more prizes, so keep an eye on our raffle page in the run up to the event to see our growing and prestigious prize list.

And as you would expect, to support this charity event you will have the opportunity when you book to make further donations to our deserving causes. If you are a UK tax payer, make sure you allow us to add Gift Aid to your donation – this enables Marlow Tastes 2026 to claim a further 25% from the taxman!

What food choices will I have?

Soon after final bookings close on Tuesday 17 March – or earlier if we are fully booked – we will email every guest with three menu options for each of their three courses.

First courses will include at least one vegetarian option, and second courses will have meat, fish, and vegetarian options. To enable you to make informed choices, all menu options will have detailed descriptions and include relevant allergens from the list below:

(C) Crustaceans
(CL) Celery
(E) Egg
(F) Fish
(G) Gluten

(L) Lupin
(M) Milk
(ML) Molluscs
(MS) Mustard
(N) Tree Nuts

(NP) Peanuts
(SB) Soybean
(SS) Sesame seed
(SU) Sulphur dioxide and sulphites

Because of the complexity of this event, it is unfortunately not possible for menu options to be altered. If you have do have dietary intolerances, please think carefully before booking.

Is Marlow Tastes suitable for me?

Marlow Tastes may not be a suitable event for those with specific dietary restrictions. The complex nature of the event – the timings and the numbers involved – requires a limited menu choice which may not satisfy a wider range of preferences and needs. There is no opportunity to tailor menus to suit individual requirements.

Marlow Tastes by its very nature involves walking between restaurants which can be up to 1km, with a possible total walking distance during the evening of up to 3km; there could also be the possibility of inclement weather conditions. Participants are therefore asked to fully consider this before booking.

How safe will Marlow Tastes 2026 be?

Very safe we hope!

The Rotary Club of Marlow Thames is very experienced at organising large events with many of its members having worked in safety focused businesses.

But as with all the public events we organise, we ask you to think carefully about your own safety and the safety of those around you.

Marlow Tastes 2026 is a dining event that takes place at a reception venue, in participating restaurants, and outdoors in the streets of Marlow. We therefore ask you to consider:

  • When selecting your menu choices, have you checked for possible allergens?
  • Are you comfortable meeting different fellow diners in close proximity, especially indoors at the reception venues and at each restaurant you visit?
  • Are you able to safely walk for around 15 minutes between venues, possibly in inclement weather, and safely cross the road?

How do I book?

First, ask your friends or family to make up your Booking Group. A Booking Group can comprise only 2 or 4 or 6 diners). Make sure all have no dietary or mobility restrictions (see section Is Marlow Tastes suitable for me?).

  • For each guest you will need their name, their own email address and their phone number.
    • Double check email addresses are correct. After booking all communication will be by email directly with each guest.
    • Email addresses should be unique for each guest. If that is not possible then only a maximum of two guests can share an email address.
  • Ask their permission to use the above information to make the booking
  • Go to our booking site:
Buy Tickets
  • Complete the booking form with the requested details for your Booking Group.
  • Finally, follow the booking form through to the payment page where payment can be made in the usual online way.

Once payment has been received, we will automatically acknowledge receipt of your order and payment.

The final booking date is Tuesday 17 March, but we suggest that you book as soon as possible to secure your places. Last year we sold out within a few weeks.

What happens after booking?

Soon after we close our bookings, we will email all diners with three menu options for each of their three courses. But in doing so, we will not reveal the restaurants to be visited.

Each menu option will be fully described and clearly indicate which of the standard allergens apply, so make sure you consider this before making your choices. We will require each diner to email their choices to us within two weeks of us sending the menu option email.

Just prior to the big day we will again email all diners with detailed instructions for the evening, confirmation of their menu choices, the location of their reception venue, and their unique guest number which helps us identify them during the evening.

On the evening we ask diners to arrive promptly at 6pm at their allocated reception venue – either All Saint’s Church SL7 2AA or Shelley Theatre SL7 2AE. On arrival we will issue identity lanyards which provide us with diner information and menu choices, together with a discount voucher. Diners will then join us for drinks and canapes before heading off to their first restaurant, guided by our Rotary volunteers.

What if I have to cancel?

You will appreciate that an event like Marlow Tastes 2026 requires a lot of planning – that is why our final booking date is well before the big day.

If after booking, but before the final booking date, you are unable to attend Marlow Tastes 2026, please let us know as soon as possible. We may be able to swap your tickets if you can offer replacement guests. Alternatively, if we have a waiting list, we may be able to resell them. In this case, to cover booking fees, we only be able to refund 90% of your ticket costs.

After the final booking date of Tuesday 17 March we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund if you cannot attend.

It is important that you read our Terms & Conditions  before booking.

How can I contact you if I have a question?

Just email us at info@MarlowTastes.menu and one of our friendly Marlow Tastes 2026 organising team will get back to you quickly. Leave a telephone number if you prefer to have a chat.
