More about Marlow Tastes!

A tantalising treat for your taste buds – brought to you by {Marlow Thames Rotary Club} (organisers of the Marlow Santa’s Fun Run). You will visit three different restaurants in just one evening – and take part in a novel event that will also raise lots of money to support great causes. Previously, the {One Can Trust} – and the {Turkish/Syrian Earthquake Disaster Appeal}.^^The next event will be on {Tuesday 30th April 2024} and website bookings will open on {1st January 2024}

Previously at our inaugural and hugely successful event in 2023 …

Your Marlow Tastes gourmet evening starts at the Shelley Theatre (Court Gardens) at 6.15pm where you will meet fellow diners at a pre-dinner drinks reception.

At 7pm you and your friends walk along the High Street to the first restaurant to enjoy your starter. At 8pm you move on to a second restaurant for your main course, and at 9.30pm you walk to your final restaurant for your dessert. It’s a kind of progressive supper – but based on restaurant venues rather than people’s homes.

This unique eating experience builds upon the close proximity of some fantastic restaurants in and around Marlow High Street, details of which can be seen here

The essence of the evening is surprise – your party (perhaps friends, family or work colleagues) will not know which restaurants you will be visiting until shortly before you arrive. But to ensure your dietary requirements are met, you will have already made your menu choices a week or so earlier.

By joining us in this new venture you will not only enjoy an evening with a difference – you will also be supporting a fantastic new charity event. So why not get family and friends to group together – or perhaps create a work or club event? You can book your tickets here.

Marlow Tastes is organised by the Rotary Club of Marlow Thames. Our club is a voluntary service organisation that has supported many local and global charitable and community causes since 1997 – including fund raising events such as the Marlow Santa’s Fun Run and the Cookham Regatta. We are from all walks of life – and our collective experience allows us to give extensive support to the local community.
